Takes and records vital signs, height and weights, measures and records fluid intake and output, collects specimens.
Knowledge of normal vital sign parameters.
Assist with transport of patients within the hospital.
One-on-one observation with required documentation.
Close observation monitoring.
Ability to set up traction, restraints, orthopedic equipment.
Demonstrates proficient computer skills.
Ability to follow through with physician orders.
Assemble and maintain patient records according to policy.
Order and maintain supplies.
Prepares patient record for transfer/discharge.
Enter discharges and maintenance requests in computer in timely manner.
Answer telephone according to approved protocols, directs calls to appropriate persons.
High school diploma or equivalent.
AHA CPR Certification required.
