2K a year Orthopaedic Spine Surgical Biller and Coding Specialist Shore Orthopaedic University Associates is looking for an Orthopaedic Spine Surgical Coding Specialist and Biller.
The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical coding and be able to manage and execute tasks independently to completion.
Summary of Responsibilities Properly code and bill surgical and office orthopaedic spine services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.
Billing surgical procedures for our various physicians which also may include, general orthopaedics, foot and ankle, hand, reconstructive and sports medicine Billing office visit charges for same as needed 1-2 years spinal billing and surgical billing experience Knowledge of standard PC and standard PC operating system such as Microsoft office , Google Drive Excellent problem-solving skills Experience & Education Requirements Surgical coding orthopaedic and spine experience preferred Proficient with technology, including experience with Practice Manager EMR, EHR, Navinet and other programs used in medical billing and coding.
Familiar with Hospital system EMR for surgical reports and billing information Surgical Coding and review of surgical procedures for accurate coding and billing.
Understand bundled and unbundled procedures to maximize reimbursement and properly code surgical procedures as well as use of proper modifiers Be professional, enthusiastic and conscientious Possess strong communication, and organizational skills
